This is common sense but you may not know it?NEVER, EVER fill a metal gasoline can in a pick-up truck plastic bedliner!!!There have been some horrible accidents with people burned severely by gasoline fires and explosions when gas cans were filled in pick-up truck plastic bedliners.ALWAYS fill a gasoline can when it is on the ground!!!Whenever gasoline tanks in aircraft are filled, a ground wire is connected between the truck and the aircraft so there is never a difference of potential between the two. Then there can never be a spark. |
